Inktober 2019: Pilgrimage. Roud-up Week 3.

Time flies and week 3 of Inktober challenge passed by. Here’s a round-up and check out my Week 1 and Week 2 if you haven’t.

Onwards, Rasa

Day 15 – Legend

A man walks in nature. I am a legend.

I am a legend. You are a legend. We are legends. Because every life is special and has its own unique way or pilgrimage to walk through it from the first breath in till the last breath out. ๐Ÿ‘ฃโค๏ธ๐ŸŒณ

Day 16 – Wild

A pilgrim sits on a rock and has wings.

A wild pilgrim who became mythical being after pilgrimage ๐Ÿ˜ Actually, I was too tired to make it a drawing about pilgrimage, so today I let my head and hand free ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿˆ๐ŸŒธ

Day 17 – Ornament

Buddha, cross, David's star, moon, and heart ornaments connected by chains.

Pilgrimage as a way to show a devotion can be found in most of the world’s religions. I think this is one of the most evident things that prove that religions are more connected than they might seem.

Day 18 – Misfit

A pilgrim came into a city and there are only houses and posh dressed people.

Itโ€™s when you walk for a week in nature and have to cross a bigger town. Suddenly, you feel thereโ€™s no air ๐Ÿ˜

Day 19 – Sling

Pilgim in India carried water from river Ganges.

Pilgrim in India carrying water from the sacred river Ganges during Sawan pilgrimage in Kanwar. The water bowls hang on slings and look heavy… ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

Day 20 – Tread

Bicycle wheels and treads they left.

One day on pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela I was sick and albergue in one of the cities had a long line of pilgrims. Seeing that 3 or 4 bicyclers took their bicycles and went on to the next albergue saying that it is easier for them to bike than us to walk. It was a very kind act โค๏ธThank you!

Day 21 – Treasure

A pilgrim hugging her heart because it is her treasure.

Sometimes you gotta walk a long pilgrimage to realize that all treasures are already here and now – in your heart โค๏ธ

About All About Pilgrimage

My real name is Rasa, I'm originally Lithuanian and currently saying 'Hello!' from Berlin, Germany. I started this blog because I like to write, to walk, and to take photos. I've done Camino de Santiago twice, and both of the journeys were really rewarding: cleared my head, found my inner peace and my love. My wish is that more and more people would go on a pilgrimage at least once in a lifetime. And hopefully this blog will be not only informative but inspirational and encouraging to take that first step.
